Sunvic working closely with partners

Sunvic Controls have been designing and manufacturing reliable, high quality and high specification products for over 60 years. Production, sales, technical support, design and marketing are all based at the same site and work closely together to ensure the products and services meet the highest standards.

The main activity of the company is focused around its core competency which is an expertise in temperature control. There is also a strong desire to continually strive for new and innovative ways to serve the heating, ventilation and air conditioning market.

A contributing factor to the success and longevity of Sunvic is working in partnership with customers, manufacturing associations and advisory bodies. These partnerships bring a true working knowledge of customer preferences, the real issues facing installers and the changing environment in which we live.

An example is the heightened awareness of how our daily actions impact on environmental issues. Energy efficiency is non-negotiable in today’s world and as such controls companies have an important role to play in ensuring the products they design and manufacture will give homeowners greater control over both timing and temperature. Within the Sunvic product range there are programmers, programmable room thermostats and motorised valves which limit the ‘powered up’ time even when in the ON position.

As well as ensuring high quality controls are available at an affordable price, Sunvic also advise where to install the products to make them most effective, and include Plain English instructions for the homeowner to follow once they are installed.

Keeping up to date with changes in building regulations, and how they impact on the industry, is at the forefront of any new product development. A good example of this from Sunvic is the new “Plug-It” concept. “Plug-It” was designed after listening to customer feedback, and although a simple concept in itself it can actually bring revolutionary benefits to the installer and specifier.

The product comprises of the essential central heating pack pre-wired into a wiring centre with each component part easily attached by means of a simple plug connector. No need for an electrician to be called back to the site to wire individual parts such as the motorised valve, cylinder thermostat or even pump. It is also designed for standard UK mains voltage to further simplify the installation process.

Sunvic will remain committed to researching and developing new products in response to industry changes.
